HALF NELSON is a well designed 34 ft yacht, safely built in Sweden by Maxi Yachts.   On deck equipment includes roller reefing headsail and in-mast reefing mainsail with all control lines lead aft into the cockpit.   The cockpit is deep and well protected with a wrap-around glass windscreen and sprayhood.

 

Below decks the electronic navigation instruments include TV chart plotter, radar, DGPS and a full compliment of Autohelm instruments. There is a microwave cooker, refrigerator and running hot water.

 

There are safety harnesses & lines, life jackets and wet weather clothing available for all on board.

 

HALF NELSON conforms to the Department of Transport Code of Practise for commercial sailing yachts and has been certificated by the Port of Southampton to carry seven passengers.
